Marketing development program verizon

Working in any call center is hard.. It is a very mentally draining job and you need a lot of support. Pros - fun culture - supportive managers - made great friends.

The constant change change you have to be willing and ready lolling and ready to change because every week something is changing Various Positions Former Employee - Home based - January 10, Verizon was a fun place to work in the beginning I enjoyed my Supervisors and my coworkers however whoever's in the upper management departments they never took in the consideration the kind of work that they're pushing out on each individual between sales,Tech Support, Billing in all other things that are required for this job it's a lot when I 1st started working there supervisor was able to take calls for hours a week and I think they've lost touch to how the people are on the phone some customers are very very nice and some customers are very rude and they can't help that but what they can do is make it easy on us to provide the service 1st before they try to push us into making sales and upgrading the customer and adding new lines of service and making the custom on the right plan I know this is a profit business but at the same time what happened to the customer service.

Pros great benefits great time off great sick leave time. Official response from Verizon January 11, Providing our employees with a positive work experience and ensuring that they have the tools for success is extremely important to us. We appreciate your feedback, as we are always looking to improve.

They pretty much micro managed. Customers were okay, you have good days or bad days depend on your customer service skills. Pros Free lunches. Cons Too much. Work hard and get ahead is the American way, right? Unfortunately management in Etown, KY never got that memo. The hardest workers are punished with having the entire workload while subpar workers are rewarded by having no assignments. Management make sure anyone who would like to get ahead are drove into the ground until they want to quit.

HR protects management and do not provide any support for anyone below. Pros Pay and benefits are good for the area. We appreciate you taking the time to share your candid review with us. We take feedback seriously in order to improve. Jobs at Verizon. Remote Customer Service Representative. Technical Support Engineer.

Pega Developer. Data Analyst. Retail Sales Representative. I loved working at Verizon. My managers were great and the staff were great to work with. They help you when you didn't understand a situation. I just wish it wasn't seasonal. Pros good benifites fair pay. Cons real problem solvers to speak with when needed. Great pay without the requirements if previous experience or college degree. I've worked here for 15 years, and while there has been many ups and downs; there is great earning potential and upward mobility for career advancement.

Poor work life balance at the place. Sales goals got harder to achieve over time. Sometimes we were pushed to sell items at all cost even if it did not benefit the customer. The point of sale system was a pain to work with. Benefits were great though! Thank you for your honest feedback. We will do our best to take your feedback into consideration to improve our organization. Needs major restructuring for in-store sales! Management plays favoritism constantly.

Everything from giving longer breaks to certain employees, to always giving the same employees weekends off. Maybe had 1 actual weekend off while I was employed at Verizon. Management is by far the worst part, if you're not in the Store Manager's "clique" then you could be in for a miserable work experience.

Store Manager at my location did little to nothing while she was in-store. Would camp out in the back office for 6 hours then leave. Very few people at my store had been there for longer than 7 months, Verizon has had a very high turn over rate over the last year. Pros Plan discounts. Cons Terrible scheduling, Management favoritism, zero work-life balance, often expected to travel to other stores, too many quotas.
