I feel overwhelmed! Im starting over for clarity The problem Im having is with the wifes laptop which is running Windows 7 and I am communicating to you via my desktop which is running Vista.
I presently have no means of interconnecting the two computers so I am challenged with extracting more indepth information to repair the laptop. Prior to that are almost daily postings of windows updates. I have located the update in question and downloaded it. I think I know the answer but Ill ask to be sure If you don't have a Windows 7 Installation disk the System Maker will usually sell the disk cheap since you already own Windows.
