Stephanie is shocked when Johnno tells her he is Tom's father making him not her son. Stephanie convinces Ahmal to let his sister Princess Talitha accompany her back to Australia so Stephanie can pose as her. Stephanie, dressed as Talitha, comes to stay at Eden and Jake recognizes something familiar about the Princess.

Stephanie races back to Eden with Jake in pursuit. When they reach Eden, Stephanie rushes to her room, where the real Princess is waiting. Sarah is rushed to hospital by ambulance after her fall at the airport. Jake tries to convince Jilly that the land is worthless but she refuses to listen to him or his claims that Stephanie is still alive and behind the whole scheme.

Jilly seeks medical attention for shock while Jake reminds her of her new financial woes. Jake tries one last time to persuade Stephanie to marry him but again she refuses.

The mystery man leaves a torn photo on a sleeping Stephanie's pillow. Jake and Jilly check out Revenge's form and Jilly urges Jake to forget the bet and leave now but he refuses. Following the wild success of the miniseries Return To Eden came back a couple of years later in the guise of a glossy weekly serial.

Set seven years after the original Stephanie is back and an old enemy is trying to bring her world crashing down. This series of Return to Eden is much more like American dramas of the same era, namely Dynasty, Falcon Crest, etc, but with more wit and a cast who seem to play their roles with their tongues slightly in cheek.

The plots are typical of 80s excess - company takeovers, faked deaths, and bedroom scenes galore. Peta Toppano steals the show as Jilly Stewart, delivering her bitchy lines with camp exuberance whilst wearing ever more amazingly over the top costumes as the series progresses.

This series came to an abrupt ending after just 22 episodes due to poor ratings in it's native Australia and allegedly because the show was so expensive to produce. If you love your soaps to be glamorous, your story lines over the top and your shoulder pads huge then Return to Eden is the show for you!

By what name was Return to Eden officially released in Canada in English? Jilly and Stephanie agree to start over whilst all the time Jilly continues to plot against her. Attempted Murder. Stephanie goes for a morning swim and comes face to face with the crocodile but Dan shoots it.

Stephanie is left traumatized. Jilly is questioned by the police but as there is no evidence against her she is released. In Stephanie's absence, Dennis tells the board he will be in charge of Harper Mining.

Knife Fight. Stephanie is missing and Jilly finds her at Tara's. Stephanie thinks she is Tara Welles again. During a dinner at Eden Jilly announces she is going to marry Phillip again. During a midnight meeting at Harper Mining, Jake kisses Stephanie but at the exact same moment, Dan walks in.

Transaction for a Marriage. Dan rushes out and Stephanie throws a drink in Jake's face. Dan tells Sarah he thinks he is losing Stephanie. Stephanie agrees to have Jilly and Phillip's wedding at Eden. After the wedding, Jilly runs straight into Jake's arms and gives him Stephanie's wedding gift to her a stash of Harper Mining shares. Cassie alters the computer records for Jake.

Jilly urges Stephanie to go after Dan. In Stephanie's absence Jake calls an emergency board meeting, Stephanie will have to attend via the telephone but Olive cuts the line to the island where Dan and Stephanie are. Stephanie rushes to another phone line on the island but the fuel line to the boat has been cut and the boat explodes. Fight to Survive. After hearing about the boat explosion Jake organizes a search. Bill forbids Tom from seeing Sarah anymore. Jilly is fed up with Jake's obsession with Stephanie and pleads with him to allow her to run Tara's.

Stephanie is found but there's still no sign of Dan. Olive tells Jilly that Stephanie's illegitimate son is still alive. Stephanie finds Dan alive and they return to Eden.

The Knife in the Back. Bill is rushed to the hospital and a heartbroken Sarah is forced to end her engagement. Dan tells Stephanie to be careful of Jilly as he thinks she is double-crossing her. Jilly blames Cassie for everything that has gone wrong recently in Stephanie's life. Stephanie confronts Jake and states she will regain control of her company again.

She calls old friend Sheik Ahmal to enlist his help. Jilly finds Phillip's body and the courier receipt for the tape.
